Here for sale is our collapsable Overland/Expedition Trailer with Roof top tent. We have really enjoyed this set up and is great for extended stays. But are going down a different route. The trailer itself is based on a. King traiload tg1300 trailer, almost identical to a sankey trailer and I still have the NATO hitch. The specs are as follows. 1’6 side rear tail gate. It has side drop down support legs for stabilisation and tie down support points. It has also been extended to add the front locker section which houses the battery, which operates the winch to move the tent up and down on the custom frame. This allows for easy access to the tent cover and unpacking before raising up. It also means that the tent is kept lower when towing to reduce drag. It does have quite a few paint chips and could do with repainting if wanting it to look new however, we liked the rugged look. The tyres have barely been used and are 6.5 – 16 British size, (about a 30inch diameter) mud tyre. Please note, due to the tyre size and hitch height, it does require a relatively tall vehicle. I have towed this with my saab and was fine with nothing else in the car as it is fairly lightweight but I do not recommend. At maximum height on my Landcruiser hitch, it just about sits level (Shown in middle position). Included with the Tent is the following camping equipment. Kempa Geyser Hot Water System. Smev Twin Hob and Sink with Shower Attachment. The tent is an Overland by autohome Bordeaux Model and is in really good condition. It is a 2 man tent and very easy to set up and down. It has only been used a couple of times as it we swapped it with our other Tent which we will be keeping. Comes with mattress, sheets and 2 pillows with Covers.
