Expedition trailer custom built for a trip to the Pyrenees which has had to be cancelled and means the trailer is now just sat on the driveway. Trailer has been tested and tows great on and off road. Made from a Sankey wide track trailer chassis which was shot blasted before being painted with black chassis paint. Body is made from a 4mm galvanised steel and is a solid tank with no frame. Painted bronze green and the under side has been coated and undersealed. Lid is made from 3mm aluminium chequer plate and has twin gas struts to enable it to be easily lifted even with a load strapped to the load bars. Lid is held shut by two catches that can be locked with pad locks. Rear door opens to form a work surface and the rear kitchen area includes a gas cooker, only used for two weekends, water tap (pumps supplies water from side mounted jerry can) and 12v control panel (2 switches for lights 1 for water pump and three spare). Fed from 90amp/hr leisure battery. The front of the trailer is a large carpeted storage area with engineered wood floor for your table chairs etc. Both kitchen and storage area are fitted with LED lights. There is also 4 socket 240v power supply which is fitted with a safety cut out and is fed from an external socket (short power lead included). NOTE: This trailer has a NATO 50mm ring hitch and will need a suitable tow hitch. Blasted and painted Sankey wide track chassis. BF Goodrich trek edge 225/75r16 tyres. Custom tank style body. Aluminium lid, rear door and running boards. 12v electrics inc water pump and light. 90amp/ hr leisure battery. 240v hook up with safety cut out and 4 sockets. External 20L water jerry can in holder.
