
















It is based on the chassis from a 2012 single axle caravan. I think it was a Coachman, about the longest van available on a single axle. It still has the alloy wheels and Alko hitch head. It also has shock absorbers. The brakes are good, as is the handbrake. It also retains all four corner steadies, I’ll provide a jack handle to go with them. The deck is original caravan floor and is starting to suffer. It could do with another plywood overlay to bring it good as new. It is still perfectly usable as it is. I cut holes in the deck to allow heavy loads to be lashed directly to the chassis. There are also lighter duty lashing points in the corners of the deck. The side frame is stainless steel angle, with 3/4 exterior ply sides and wheel arch boxes. The wheel arches also have the plastic liners from the caravan. There is no moveable tailgate. The cover is custom made to measure, in good order with no holes, made from heavy gauge waterproof PVC. It is held down with elastic straps to buttons screwed to the sides. Externally, the trailer is just under 3.0m x 2.0m. Deck sides are about 300mm high. Distance between the wheel arch boxes is 1340mm. Easily takes an 8′ x 4′ sheet of ply, plasterboard etc. The plug is a 13 pin caravan. The donor caravan did not have ATC. Alloy wheels are in good order and come with locking wheel nuts and keys.
