Probably from the 20’s / 30’s. Overall length 7 feet Trailer body is 5 x 3 feet Tyres are modern, Dunlop K87. Its very lightly sprung. The wood I think, is elm. Sadly the trailer was stored outside and the wood has suffered. Some sections will need replacing The frame joints are good except near side rear lower corner. Its general style of construction reminds me of the old wooden farm wagons of the last century. By the 20’s nearly all the wagon builders left needed to diversify. Its possible that this trailer was built for the emerging car market but, built in the old wagoners fashion. I don’t think it was built for farm work as it is so lightly sprung On one near side rail there is a this small wooden’badge’ with some barely perceptible lettering, no doubt the makers name plate. Any queries pls message, ditto of any reader who knows something re this style of trailer. Its not a difficult restoration except for that rear corner which will require some skilled joinery.
