I’m offering this car trailer for sale on behalf of a friend, who had this car trailer purpose built for him, originally. It consists of aluminium sides and front, with a wooden back and floor. It can be used at three different heights, by adding one or two wooden parts on each side, all around the trailer. These parts were hand made by my friend. They can be fairly easily fitted or removed single handedly, by slotting them into place, then securing them with catches. There is a very old tarpaulin to cover it with, although that is pretty worn out! INTERNAL DIMENSIONS: 6′ 3″ (191cm) x 3′ 8.5″ (113.5cm) x 4′ 10 (147.5cm) approx. There are 4 spare wheels & tyres, although all tyres would need inflating to a suitable pressure. The trailer has always been jacked up, and wooden blocks inserted underneath, whenever it was being stored in a garage. This was to protect the tyres from the prolonged weight of the trailer on them. PLEASE NOTE: There is no jockey wheel for easy manoeuvering. Instead, my friend made a device based on two roller skates, attached to wooden blocks. It can be seen in several of the photos. This forms parts of the sale, along with the wooden blocks mentioned above. It has a standard electrical plug, used when attaching the trailer to a car.
