You are looking at a car transporter trailer which was custom built by High Peak Trailers for transporting a BMW 3 series race car. It is 16’2” internal length, 6′ door width and 6’8” door height, it has a slight beavertail behind the rear axle and the door is operated hydraulically by an electric button. There is a locker in the floor for storage, a tyre rack and workbench at the front and an electric winch. The winch and the rear door are powered by an on-board battery which is in good condition and holds charge well. There is a small entry door on the offside front for personnel access. It has done less than 1000 miles since the service. The trailer tows extremely well and is very stable either empty or loaded although it is the size of a large caravan so obviously you need quite a large vehicle to tow it! I have towed it with a Landrover 110 and an old’smiley’ Transit and they both handle it no problem. PLEASE NOTE: the 110 and the Transit in the pics are not included in this listing, although they are both for sale separately! I bought this last year for transport and storage of a Mini racecar but I now have a garage so no longer require such a large covered trailer, I may be up for a deal with an open transporter trailer if you want to upgrade (contact me to discuss).
