This is a genuine BMW multi-trailer with canopy (hard top) module. A genuine BMW accessory bought from Williams Liverpool BMW 3/5/2001. Made by Westfalia for BMW. See internet for loads of images of these trailers with motorcycles on them. I have never removed canopy as used it as a camping trailer. They are often used as motorcycle trailers. As for weights, Permitted max. Gross weight of trailer 1000kg. Weight of the trailer is 235kg, weight of hood is approx 75kg. I would imagine simple to convert to carry motorcycle by fitting a motorcycle front wheel bracket. The number plate folds down to reveal a storage place for a ramp. With the roofbars, cross bars can be fixed on for surfboards/bikes etc. One of the photos attached has specific measurements. I can get windsurf boards, and camping gear inside no problem. Canopy length 2480mm, width 1700mm, internal height of canopy 450mm-720mm. All the doors lock, plus spare original keys. This trailer has springs/shock absorbers etc. So tows absolutely faultlessly. Brakes, hand-brake etc work perfect. I had a BMW technician service and check over the brakes/suspension this year as it had been stood for a while. The engineering on the trailer has to be seen to be believed. There are factory fitted locks on the tow hitch to lock when on/off the hitch. It comes with original manual/handbook/wallet/service book from BMW. There is a spare wheel and a spare set of rear lights. I have owned this trailer for many years, and it has always been garaged. It gets admired wherever I go, and I have yet to see another one in the UK. It probably seems expensive for a trailer but these were a prohibitively expensive option. You will see more available in Europe. It would look great behind a BMW. There are a few cosmetic marks here and there from use and brushing past in garage, just being honest. I put new tyres on this year when it was serviced, they have only done a couple of miles. Happy to discuss, but Im not giving it away. It is advertised elsewhere so maybe withdrawn at anytime.
