Top deck works on single hydraulic ram and lockable side legs. We have only used it as one deck ie removing top deck to have a single bed and then carried two vw rally cars on it, which has been effortless. As double deck it can carry much larger individual vehicles. The removed top deck could also be used on a chassis cab to make a fantastic recovery truck, which is what we intended to do. Although looks heavy it can be pushed around the yard by this sixty plus year old. Total change of direction has put it up for sale hence the top deck has been refitted.
