The Mauser IBC tank reinforced base is mounted onto the flatbed base with 16 M8 fixings. The inside of the tank is exceptionally clean and there is a hozelock adaptor for a hosepipe but no pipe is included. There is lots of tread on the road wheel tyres and both hold pressure. The 48 mm jockey wheel and fixing kit are new. The coupling is 50mm which is a standard fitting for car tow balls. The electrics work correctly. It should be noted that a trailer carrying 700 litres or more of water on the public highway must be braked which means that such a trailer will have a gross weight of over 1000 KG and the towing vehicle will have to have the power/weight ratio to tow it. The unbraked Erde 142 with a gross weight of 600 KG and will carry 500 litres of water on the highway. This means it can be towed by a small vehicle which makes this a very economical option.
