Here we have a single axle Ifor Williams Tow A Van box trailer (BV84G model) with van back doors and in great condition over all. Ifor Williams make the best quality trailers available, I have owned other box trailers in the past but the difference in quality is obvious. I bought this trailer to help with moving house recently, along with a larger BV105 model (see my other items) The move is all done now so both are surplus to requirements. The trailer box measures 240cm long x 117cm wide and 153cm high (all internal measurements), the wheel base width is 180cm (measured from the outside of each tyre). The outside of the trailer is 390cm long in total including the hitch and is 205cm tall ground to top of roof, it sits on 13 inch wheels and 165/13 tyres. The box van is in great condition, the sides panels and front are very clean and shine, there are some microscopic marks on it in places but I’d have to point them out for you to see! Moving to the inside the walls in good condition and very clean, again there are some marks on the walls from previous use but these are very small. The floor still has the original pattern all over but has light scrape marks from loading. Its got both the chassis plate and number etched in the frame, Ive got all the keys to all the doors and hitch lock. It would be ideal for a car booter or market trader to put stock in without the worry of it getting dirty or wet as youd expect its totally dry inside. The other thing I have seen these used for is as a store towed behind a motor home, because of its condition this would be great for this. Or just anyone who wants a very tidy trailer. Its braked on all four wheels Its got a lockable service door at the front and van type doors at the rear, its just been serviced with the brakes having been cleaned and adjusted and the linkages all greased. All the lights work also. Its a galvanized chassis with a Knott Avonride tow hitch. And beam axles with leaf spring suspension, this tends to be more flexible than indespension arms so the trailer is a lot more stable to tow with little or no weight in. (Most towavans with indespension suspension bounce a lot when unladen). Its weight plate says its rated at 1400kg Gross Vehicle Weight (its unladen weight is 515kgs). Its got 13 Inch wheels 165/13 tyres all the tyres are original and still over 6mm tread left, the spare is good as well. Ifor Williams make great balanced trailers, This is a great trailer to tow, its smooth, stable and easy to forget its behind you. I have towed it with an estate car and a 4×4 and it tows very well with either, its light and can be moved around by one person fairly easily. Its easy to tow and the brakes work great, even with no load its still sturdy. It has van back doors which has a lockable handle making it safe and secure. It can also be loaded through the front door, its fitted with eyelet sockets down both inside walls.
