Bedford KM Lorry Body / Trailer. Believed to be a McCoomb body. 12 ton wooden drop-side tipper. 3′ 6 high drop sides. Converted into an agricultural grain trailer some 30 years ago in our own farm workshop and used most years by ourselves ever since. Always stored under cover. Body is not perfect- please see photographs. Lower headboard getting tired, tailgate has had a repair. However it is still grain-proof and in service this harvest. Offered for sale as we are moving to more modern trailers. Wooden tipping bodies rarely survive into preservation, and even fewer are still good enough to hold grain. Brakes converted to tractor hydraulics. Price is for the whole trailer. Suitable to go to work as is, or for parts for commercial vehicle restoration/ preservation. Located near Boston, Lincolnshire.
