I built this trailer a few years ago, I have taken it to a few Land Rover shows, and many of camping trips over the years, it’s a real head turner no matter were you go. It looks great behind a Land rover (as it looks like a mini road train). It tow’s very well with no issues behind my Land Rover, fully loaded it’s about a tonne in weight. As you can see, I designed the trailer it to be slept in, with a folding down bench seat that act’s as the bed. The trailer is fully insulated. The trailer is build up upon a MK3 Wide track Sankey chassis, so has disc brakes. The trailer chassis has been extended by 50cm to take a 110 Defender MOD tub (hence the side lockers). The lower half of the tub is from a MOD 110 defender, the top half is from a 110 Van back, with modified sliding windows, and a modified 110 roof with sunroof. The trailer has 4 support legs, two of which are part of the chassis at the back(under the body), the other two are not part of the chassis at the front(fixed to the body). The trailer has been rewired to take a normal style 7 pin plug, it has normal Land Rover lights and LED lights, fitted at the rear. You can also plug it in at campsites. (just to keep things topped up). Within this sale you’ll be getting both awnings seen in the pictures, the roof box (ideal for extra storage), spare wheel and fuel can, the cooker and gas bottle (cooker is built in-fixed to the back door).
