Canadian rowing Cedar strip Skiff, The Algonquin, 1920s with history, photos, sales brochure and invoices. Used as the life boat on the Algonquin lake pre 40s. Then used by its new owners for pleasure who lived on the Chalk River see photo 1945/1947 and were employed there on Canadas first Nuclear Power station. When the Nuclear programme ended the Skiff was exported to the UK see photo on the Thames in 1968. Some time later now 2012 the Algonquin was sent to Stanley and Thomas Boatbuilders in Windsor for another service. Comes with a good road trailer, good tyers and spare, one pair of original oars, and tail board. And a copy of an original sales Brochure. Boat stored at NE 61.
