Heavy Duty Viking Car transport & plant trailer. Viking Super Duty transporter. Just had a full service and lots of new parts including all new brakes and brake lines, fish plates, stabilizer legs & brake-away cable plus new wheel bearings. Year before last had brand new Knott heavy duty 2700kg hitch, jockey wheel, anchors and all new LED tail lights all done by John Ingham towing specialists in Preston. I have also re zinc coated a large proportion of the front and rear. Very solid galvanised trailer suitable for small vintage tractors, classic cars or with the partial sides suitable for landscape gardeners and builders etc for lugging equipment and materials. Ply centre boards are a bit crabby but serviceable (easy to swap out) and the drop ramp has seen a bit of action but still very usable. I have used this for moving my classic cars around and was great for moving house but no longer required due to no room at my new house plus my wife has told me no more projects cars : Tows really nice and smooth with weight on it, very well mannered. Also comes with a heavy duty wheel clamp and the hitch has a fully integrated lock. Can be tilted with the stabilizers. Full drive on soft close ramp. Easy to manoeuvre and reverse. Fully braked with suspension. 14ft x 6.6ft (4.1m x 2.2m) loadable area. Accessory (gas bottle rack) storage area at the front. (Preston, Lancashire PR2) Feel free to ping offers. With my former hobby time having been taken up by the demands of a new second businessI have taken the decision with great regret to offer my toys/ projects (classic cars etc) for sale. This twin axle accommodation trailer (the box is 7ft wide and 18.5ft long) is one of my finished projects, that said there is always room for improvement/addition. All that it perhaps requires is a shower. The trailer is in very good condition both externally and internally. I planned to use it for classic car shows both to exhibit and as accommodation. It is secured by heavy Yale leaver locks and is equipped as follows ; cloakroom with WC & Wash hand basin, Open plan lounge/reception/meeting room with extensive fitted seating areas which convert to beds to accommodate 4 persons with the aid of coffee tables. There is a wardrobe, large screen tv, fridge, twin hob, oven, grill and microwave oven. There are 12 power points spread around the trailer which can be powered in a variety of ways i. 240 hook up, leisure battery powered by solar panels fitted to the roof and by petrol or diesel mini generator. (the latter is not included in the sale). Also tows very well without swaying etc. Any inspection is welcome. Simply call and I will be accommodating as reasonably practicable.
