For sale is a overland camping trailer chassis. CAD designed and professionally built by an engineering company. This was going to be built very similar to the Patriot Campers X1 etc as shown in the last picture. This has been fully galvanised and zinc coated with independent adjustable suspension arms on discovery 2 air bags. Comes with trailer braked hubs with defender 165.1 PCD and defender steel wheels running 235/75/15 Michelin Latitude Cross Tyres which are part worn. (Road legal, just used for moving it around before deciding on the final tyre set). This was originally designed to fit defender rear springs, however I have how engineered this now to use discovery 2 air bags as seen. The trailing arms use defender bushes for easy replacement, and also has been engineered to adjust the toe in or out on the wheels. This has also been designed to accommodate shocks, which you can fit your own chosen shocks once you know your length of travel wanted as the air bag suspension makes it adjustable for the weight and was going to be decided once fully built. The top mount for the discovery 2 air bags could ideally need welding in and painted to finish that section however I’m not happy with my welding skills for this yet so I’ve simply bolt in an under plate for now. Comes with two plates to weld in. 3.8m long from rear to coupling and 1.7m wide. Also features a defender rear chassis at the rear of the trailer so is fully customisable with defender accessories. Can be towed away, however not IVA tested yet and the brakes have not been fully fitted and adjusted, however given the very little weight of the trailer currently this isn’t an issue. This is incredibly sad sale on my behalf however my circumstances have now changed and this must now go. This is now a perfect foundation to build into your own camper of your choosing and being on air suspension, will tow like a dream. Built on an army penman trailer chassis with hydraulic brakes. The box is pro coach-built box body from a UK power networks land rover. The chassis was extended by a professional welder and then the box bolted on, lined out and painted with a raptor hard paint finish. Land rover alloys and some big boots give it a really nice stance, off-road clearance and tow perfectly.. You don’t know you have it on. Tentbox Roof tent, two awning and rear tent and airbeam tent seen in two photos will also be included if the asking price is met. There are two large lockers at the front where we store everything.. Fridge cookers tables chairs etc.. The rear area sleeps my son and dog.. Big enough for two kids / small adults.. Roof tent sleeps 2 adults.. We put the small tent on the back to give some privacy.. We tow to campsites set up and then can head off in the land rover.. If at a festival we put the land rover at 90deg to create a little area with tables / chairs etc. Some basic electrics have been done but there is so much more that could be done. Brakes I think need bleeding but it handles and toes perfectly. Kids and dog are not included..

About the trailer the sides open up for optional air flow also has fully opening boat hatch roof light all water tight has under bed sliding draw storage and extra storage at the sides comfortably sleeps 2 this trailer is insulated and has an option to remove sleeping deck to convert into carrying goods. Here for sale is our collapsable Overland/Expedition Trailer with Roof top tent. We have really enjoyed this set up and is great for extended stays. But are going down a different route. The trailer itself is based on a. King traiload tg1300 trailer, almost identical to a sankey trailer and I still have the NATO hitch. The specs are as follows. 1’6 side rear tail gate. It has side drop down support legs for stabilisation and tie down support points. It has also been extended to add the front locker section which houses the battery, which operates the winch to move the tent up and down on the custom frame. This allows for easy access to the tent cover and unpacking before raising up. It also means that the tent is kept lower when towing to reduce drag. It does have quite a few paint chips and could do with repainting if wanting it to look new however, we liked the rugged look. The tyres have barely been used and are 6.5 – 16 British size, (about a 30inch diameter) mud tyre. Please note, due to the tyre size and hitch height, it does require a relatively tall vehicle. I have towed this with my saab and was fine with nothing else in the car as it is fairly lightweight but I do not recommend. At maximum height on my Landcruiser hitch, it just about sits level (Shown in middle position). Included with the Tent is the following camping equipment. Kempa Geyser Hot Water System. Smev Twin Hob and Sink with Shower Attachment. The tent is an Overland by autohome Bordeaux Model and is in really good condition. It is a 2 man tent and very easy to set up and down. It has only been used a couple of times as it we swapped it with our other Tent which we will be keeping. Comes with mattress, sheets and 2 pillows with Covers. Happy to give demonstration to potential buyers of the collapsable system and other viewings welcome.
