This is ex teardrop with all plates certified. With brakes and handbrake.. This is geniu build in Germany Good condition nothing wrong with it.. L bought it to build new teardrop traile however because of change circumstances l build something to remove rubbish form the garden.. Its very good strong floor form stanless plates the body is just home made build… Is got new top cover.. Just come back from Devon l done about 500 miles.

ALKO Caravan galvanised chassis with additional welded steel work and bolted wooden cross members. Additional steel work is all in good condition (could do with painting). Wood work past it’s best and could do with removing or replacing. This is a low cost versatile starting point for your project: Shepherds Hut, Small Car Transporter, or even a caravan? Must be collected from Hartlepool and you will need a trailer lighting board. Brakes are not working but can be used un-braked if your vehicle is heavier than the trailer, which it will be in the present condition of the trailer. The usable’bed’ size is 4.5 meters x 1.55 meters (14 feet 9 inches x 5 feet 1 inch) all approximate. Width over mudguards is 2.03 meters or 6 feet 8 inches approximately.

The chassis is in good used condition and comes complete with the running gear, hitch and jockey wheel. Heavy-duty galvanised steel chassis. 17.5ft chassis length. (measured from the front of the trailer frame behind the hitch coupling to the rear of the chassis). Lighting wiring included (untested). Brand new tyres fitted – never been used on the road. 2 man teardrop trailer ideal for overnight stays or weekend wildcamping. We have used this numerous times for weekends away at Donnington Park racetrack and campsites to stay in using a double mattress and sleeping bags. It has lights inside and underneath which attach to a car battery but these are not connected and were becoming temperamental unfortunately. It also has a folding table on the side which unscrews and props up using a pole.

Chassis is alloy solid if I was keeping it I’d rip the wooden floor off and replace it with metal. Was a caravan but I stripped the body off it can be towed away tires fine and everything else axel etc Mansfield collection 07495783288.

It is based on the chassis from a 2012 single axle caravan. I think it was a Coachman, about the longest van available on a single axle. It still has the alloy wheels and Alko hitch head. It also has shock absorbers. The brakes are good, as is the handbrake. It also retains all four corner steadies, I’ll provide a jack handle to go with them. The deck is original caravan floor and is starting to suffer. It could do with another plywood overlay to bring it good as new. It is still perfectly usable as it is. I cut holes in the deck to allow heavy loads to be lashed directly to the chassis. There are also lighter duty lashing points in the corners of the deck. The side frame is stainless steel angle, with 3/4 exterior ply sides and wheel arch boxes. The wheel arches also have the plastic liners from the caravan. There is no moveable tailgate. The cover is custom made to measure, in good order with no holes, made from heavy gauge waterproof PVC. It is held down with elastic straps to buttons screwed to the sides. Externally, the trailer is just under 3.0m x 2.0m. Deck sides are about 300mm high. Distance between the wheel arch boxes is 1340mm. Easily takes an 8′ x 4′ sheet of ply, plasterboard etc. The plug is a 13 pin caravan. The donor caravan did not have ATC. Alloy wheels are in good order and come with locking wheel nuts and keys.
