I’ve had this 3 tonne plant trailer for a number of years. It’s very low (the bed sits between the wheels) so really stable and ideal for loading machines with low ground clearance. I’ve used it for moving all sorts of things including compact tractors and ride on mowers. Unfortunately, it doesn’t get used much these days so it’s time for it to go. The bed is 3.65m (12ft) long and 1.64m (5ft 4in) wide. Last year it had a bit of work done on it – the brake shoes on the rear axle were replaced as were the bearings on one wheel. The other brakes and bearings were serviced and are working. The rear lights and all the wiring were replaced with new as was the bed. It was originally built with a hydraulic lowering bed, but since one of the pipes burst a few years ago the hydraulics haven’t been used. I tested the rams and pump last year and all were working fine, but I’ve had no need to lower the bed so haven’t replaced the pipes/hoses – it could be reinstated easily if needed. The pump isn’t fitted, but is included in the sale. Tyres are old, but I still use them as they are – I have a set of four new steel wheels and tyres that are available by separate negotiation.
