This Adventure camping trailer is based on a 1960’s ex. Military narrow track Sankey trailer. It is a very robust built trailer but with the advantage of being light to manoeuvre by hand as well as on a vehicle. It is also really well balanced which makes towing easy. It was made to resemble the Australian Patriot X1 trailer. The trailers chassis was completely spray painted and rust treated. The trailer box is made with steel tubing and galvanise metal sheets riveted to the tubing and finished with quality auto black paint. Plenty of storage space in the trailer made available via 5 lockable doors (we have the keys). The right side we use it as a pantry / kitchen having the pull-out fridge in the first compartment and the pantry in the long one. The long door has a worktop (not in the pics) for food preparation and cooking. Fitted with auto spray painted wheels and 33×12.50 R15 GT Radial Adventuro M/T Tyres in vey good condition plus similarly kited spare wheel and tyre. The hitch is a D3050M-1500Kg-PL Spring Damped coupling with 50mm Ball Head fitted under the drawbar on the trailer to create the ideal towing height behind a standard vehicle. Trailer leveller with double bubble fitted on the drawbar for easy levelling. Heavy duty jockey wheel. Two rear adjustable legs. Heavy duty doors hinge with Grease Function/Zerk. The trailer is unbraked and rated to 750Kg and can be towed on a regular Cat B driving licence. All the LED lights around the trailer will be left for new owner. The main tent family room has access from both sides and is sufficient to allow us to put a double bed and all our clothing bags with room to spare. The main tent room has its own built in floor which is really good quality and tough. Also there is access to the trailers lookers from inside the main tent so you do not need to go outside to access it. The best thing about this tent is when the weather is hot you can roll up all the windows and with mesh all around its properly cool in there. You could happily stay in this all day no matter how hot is outside. They know how to stay cool in South Africa. The Car, ARB fridge, fridge slide, gas bottle, cooker, wood cabinet, utensils, tables, chairs, windbreakers are not included!!! Trailer and trailer tent only included in the sale.
